Harvey Nash has been engaged to find a talented Assistant Audio Engineer for our Enterprise Client.
To be eligible, consultants must be local to Irvine (5days On-site),able to work directly for Harvey Nash on a W2 basis, and not be Visa dependent (No C2C/C2H).
Duration: 6 months
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional post-production sound workflows and a curiosity in adapting these workflows for Immersive media.
- The Assistant Sound Editor will join an in-house creative team and will assist our Audio Lead during sound editorial and mix on all projects.
- 5+ years experience in post-production sound with deep expertise in picture and sound editorial workflows.
- You will be responsible for organizing production rolls, prepping AAFs, creating dialogue assemblies, and conforming mix and edit sessions.
- Proficiency with Pro Tools and other commonly used tools such as EdiLoad, Matchbox, and Soundminer.
- Experience in creating complex dialogue assemblies, often involving multiple recorders, and conforming edit and mix sessions.
- Comfortable with hands-on sound editing, primarily for Foley and VO.
- Deep knowledge of common interchange formats such as Final Cut XML, EDL, and AAF.
